Above, a sculptural ceiling inspired by the structure of palm trees creates a rhythm of intersecting vaults, recalling the quiet atmosphere of a sanctuary while remaining distinctly tropical.

Natural materials bring warmth and permanence to the design. A combination of natural stone, both local Guanacaste limestone, and carefully selected marble, wood, cutout metal screens connect the architecture to its tropical setting.

Throughout the house, restored furniture introduces another layer of memory. Pieces have been reclaimed, repaired, and given new life, bringing the warmth and character of another era into a contemporary setting.

The Layout:

Conceived around a generous central courtyard, the residence features five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and an adaptable flex room. At the core, an open-air corridor dissolve into a vast indoor-outdoor social area that opens directly onto the pool deck and surrounding canopy.
